[EN] People with depression can affect many areas of their lives and their ability to overcome certain obstacles. For this reason, self-efficacy, as a belief in one's ability to cope with goals, may be related to depression. This pathology is a very common disease, especially among adolescents, since they are in a vulnerable stage of development. In the present work, a systematic review has been carried out analyzing the relationship between self-efficacy and depression in adolescents. Two databases have been used: PsycInfo and Scopus. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, eighteen articles were finally selected. Depression and self-efficacy have been found to have a negative relationship, so it would be very important that future research focus on it as it may be of great importance for the prevention of this disorder in adolescents.
