With this final degree project, the objective is to analyse from a technical and economic perspective the different alternatives currently present on the drying of oily and wet pomace. The main problems of the management of pomace in oil mills have also been studied. In addition, various factors that influence the choice of type of drying have been taken into account with a view to achieving greater optimization in this process. For all this, a comparison has been carried out by applying different types of drying to 50,000 tons of pomace, detecting the main advantages and disadvantages of each drying system.
