The simulation of fluids and distorted solids has been widely studied in Computer Graphics. There are different solutions which allow an increasingly realistic simulation in real world environments. Therefore, objects are geometrically modeled using a particle mesh. This allows a distortion in continuous media associating a set of attributes to each particle which determines its behavior and which is next to it. In this work, an interdisciplinary tool is proposed to generate simulations of natural phenomena such as avalanches or floods. Thanks to this type of physically realistic simulations, an effective way of predicting and evaluating with a high level of detail the impact produced is achieved by different types of natural disasters.
