(ES) En este trabajo se abordan diversas cuestiones relacionadas con la transexualidad infantil. A modo
de introducción del tema, se ofrecerán distintas concepciones de diversos autores. Tras esto, se
realizó un estudio empleando una muestra de 359 personas pertenecientes al ámbito educativo
(estudiantes de grados universitarios de educación y docentes) para plantearles una serie de
situaciones de transexualidad infantil, con el objetivo principal de conocer sus opiniones y
formas de actuar ante las mismas y que podían estar presentes en su día a día como docentes.
Se obtuvieron resultados tales como que las personas religiosas presentan cierto rechazo hacia
que un niño se pinte las uñas o que no existen diferencias entre las personas que tienen
formación o no sobre el tema. De esta forma, se discute la relevancia de concienciar al
profesorado sobre cuestiones relacionadas con la transexualidad infanto-juvenil, para que
presenten las herramientas necesarias ante situaciones determinadas.
(EN) This work addresses various issues related to child transsexuality. As an introduction to the subject, different conceptions of various authors will be offered. After this, a study was carried out using a sample of 359 people belonging to the educational field (students of university degrees in education and teachers) to present them with a series of situations of child transsexuality, with the main objective of finding out their opinions and ways of dealing with them and which could be present in their day-to-day work as teachers. Results were obtained, such as the fact that religious people have a certain rejection towards children painting their nails or that there are no differences between people who have or have not received training on the subject. In this way, the relevance of making teachers aware of issues related to child and adolescent transsexuality is discussed, so that they can present the necessary tools to deal with certain situations.
