Resumen
El profesional de la Educación Social tiene competencias dentro del ámbito educativo bien como agente
promotor de mejora de contextos de convivencia escolar y como docente en Ciclos Formativos de
Formación Profesional en dos especialidades; Técnico de Servicios a la Comunidad y Técnico de
Intervención Sociocomunitaria. El presente trabajo parte de un análisis de las competencias de la figura
del educador y educadora social como profesionales adscritos al contexto educativo, analizando su
importancia y su necesidad.
The Social Education professional has competencies within the educational field either as a promoting agent for the improvement of school coexistence contexts and as a teacher in Vocational Training Cycles in two specialties; Community Services Technician and Socio-Community Intervention Technician. The present work is based on an analysis of the competences of the figure of the educator and social educator as professionals attached to the educational context, analyzing their importance and their need.
