Resumen
[ES]La crisis financiera internacional iniciada en 2007 dejó al descubierto la vulnerabilidad del sistema financiero llevándolo casi al borde del colapso y provocando el cierre y quiebra de numerosas entidades financieras.
Ahora, el objetivo primordial de las entidades financieras es el de canalizar el riesgo de una forma adecuada con el único fin de que no se vuelva a repetir de nuevo, o bien de minimizar las posibles consecuencias para que la solvencia de la entidad sea capaz de soportar épocas de dificultad.
En este trabajo se aplica el método CAMEL como análisis financiero en la entidad Cajamar Caja Rural, componente del Banco de Crédito Social Cooperativo (BCC), durante el periodo de 2011 – 2015 para analizar el nivel de vulnerabilidad que posee la entidad.
[EN]The international financial crisis that began in 2007 exposed the vulnerability of the financial system, bringing it almost to the brink of collapse and causing the closure and bankruptcy of many financial institutions. Now, the primary objective of financial institutions is to channel the risk in an appropriate way with the sole purpose of not repeating it again, or minimizing the possible consequences so that the solvency of the entity will be able to endure hard times. In this project, the CAMEL method is applied as a financial analysis in CajamarCaja Rural, a component of the Banco de Crédito Social Cooperativo (BCC), during the period of 2011 - 2015 to analyze the level of vulnerability that this entity possesses.
