Genética y herencia biológica: Las leyes de Mendel

Abstract

[ES]En este trabajo se aborda el estudio de la herencia biológica desde un punto de vista teórico y didáctico. El estudio de la Genética en los centros educativos es fundamental, pues favorece la alfabetización científica del alumnado. En primer lugar, se describen los antecedentes históricos y el estado actual de la cuestión, los aspectos relacionados con la herencia y aportaciones posteriores. Se analiza el tratamiento de la Genética en las distintas leyes educativas que han estado vigentes en España, el enfoque didáctico de los contenidos en los libros de texto, las ideas previas de los alumnos, estrategias para superar estas ideas previas y metodologías y alternativas en la enseñanza de la genética. En este sentido, se propone una acción de aula, cuyo objeto es alcanzar un aprendizaje significativo en torno a la herencia biológica, recogiendo aquellos elementos que se identifican en la parte primera de revisión y fundamentación teórica.

[EN]In this work the study of heredity is approached from a theoretical and teaching point of view. The study of genetics in schools is fundamental because it fosters scientific literacy of students. First, I describe the historical and current aspects of heredity and the subsequent contributions. Is analyzed the treatment of Genetic in the various educational laws that have been in place in Spain, the didactic approach of content in textbooks, the previous ideas of students, strategies to overcome these preconceptions and methodologies and alternatives in teaching of genetics. In this regard, I propose a didactic unit in order to achieve a significant learning about heredity, collecting those items identified in the first part of revision and theoretical foundation.
