La prostitución masculina en España

Abstract

La prostitución sufre un gran rechazo por parte de la sociedad porque se percibe como una actividad que crea efectos muy negativos y perjudiciales para el desarrollo de la sociedad. Dentro de esta parte de la población, están los trabajadores sexuales que sufren una mayor invisibilidad, provocando situaciones de gran vulnerabilidad y marginación social porque no se tiene en cuenta su existencia como grupo. A pesar de recibir una escasa atención social, la prostitución masculina ha existido y sigue existiendo a lo largo de los años en España, en lugares ocultos y alejados de la sociedad. Estos varones serán el objeto de este trabajo de fin de grado para dar a conocer la realidad de estas personas, algo que se tiene que llevar a cabo desde la intervención en Trabajo Social para mejorar su situación, actuando tanto con los trabajadores como con el resto de la población y con los/as representantes políticos/as

Prostitution is rejected by society because it is perceived as an activity that creates very negative and detrimental effects on the development of society. Within this part of the population, there are sex workers who suffer greater invisibility, causing situations of great vulnerability and social marginalization because their existence as a group is not taken into account. Despite receiving little social attention, male prostitution has existed and continues to exist over the years in Spain, in hidden places far removed from society. These men will be the object of this end of degree work to make known the reality of these people, something that has to be carried out from the intervention in Social Work to improve their situation, acting both with the workers and with the rest of the population and with the political representatives
