DESIGUALDAD Y POBREZA EN PERSONAS CON DISCAPACIDAD

Abstract

El presente trabajo que a continuación se va a desarrollar trata sobre las dificultades que presenta en nuestra sociedad el colectivo de las personas con discapacidad. Por una parte, se indagará sobre las circunstancias de pobreza y desigualdad por las que pasa dicho colectivo, así como aquellos factores psicosociales relacionados. Por otra parte, se describirán las legislaciones que se rigen en nuestro país y aquellas políticas públicas orientadas hacia este colectivo. También se abordarán los diferentes temas de inclusión que podemos encontrar hacia este colectivo y la función o ejercicio que desde la profesión del trabajo social se lleva a cabo para la inserción de este en nuestra sociedad. En definitiva, el objetivo de este trabajo es dar una mayor visibilidad a este colectivo, ya que es uno de los más vulnerados y discriminados de nuestra sociedad

The following work will deal with the difficulties faced by people with disabilities in our society. On the one hand, it will investigate the circumstances of poverty and inequality that this group is going through, as well as the related psychosocial factors. On the other hand, it will describe the legislation in force in our country and the public policies aimed at this group. It will also address the different issues of inclusion that we can find towards this group and the function or exercise that the profession of social work carries out for the insertion of this group in our society. In short, the aim of this work is to give greater visibility to this group, as it is one of the most vulnerable and discriminated against in our society
