“Trabajo Social y reagrupación familiar en España: principales retos y avances en la intervención profesional”

Resumen
La reagrupación familiar consiste en un derecho que tienen todas las personas que migran hacia otro país
para reunirse con sus familiares cumpliendo con los requisitos preestablecidos por la normativa de
extranjería. En este caso, en España, es uno de los medios más utilizados para reunirse junto a sus
familiares. Este estudio se ha realizado mediante una metodología cualitativa, centrándose en conocer y
analizar una realidad social a través de una recogida y análisis de datos cualitativos. Se llevará a una serie
de resultados en los cuales se detallarán los principales aspectos que influyen en dicho proceso, como
son la intervención profesional, instituciones de apoyo en el proceso, los retos que sufren las personas
migrantes y la figura del Trabajo Social en la intervención con las personas y/o familias reagrupadas
debido a que trabajan para eliminar todas las barreras que puedan obstaculizar su integración. Por
último, unas conclusiones que se han obtenido a lo largo de la confección del trabajo a través de la
revisión bibliográfica que se ha realizado con el fin de crear un documento que responda a cada una de
las preguntas propuestas
Family reunification consists of a right that all people who migrate to another country have to reunite with their relatives, complying with the requirements pre-established by immigration regulations. In this case, in Spain, it is one of the most used means to reunite with family members. This study was carried out using a qualitative methodology, focusing on knowing and analyzing a social reality through the collection and analysis of qualitative data. It will lead to a series of results in which the main aspects that influence this process will be detailed, such as professional intervention, support institutions, the challenges suffered by migrants and the figure of Social Work in the intervention with regrouped people because they work to eliminate all barriers that may hinder their integration. Finally, some conclusions that have been obtained throughout the preparation of the work through the bibliographic review that has been carried out in order to create a document that answers each of the proposed questions
