Resumen
[ES] La Técnica de Evaluación y Revisión de Programas (PERT) y Método de la Ruta Crítica (CPM) son dos técnicas de investigación de operaciones para la planificación, programación y control de proyectos basados en redes. Los dos buscan alcanzar el mismo objetivo, el cual es, mediante análisis, programar las tareas de los proyectos. Aunque tengan el mismo objetivo, existen diferencias entre ellos. El PERT es utilizado cuando el tiempo que tarda las tareas en realizarse tienen un carácter incierto, mientras que el CPM es utilizado cuando el tiempo que tardan las tareas en realizarse son conocidas con relativa certeza.
En este trabajo, veremos los dos métodos haciendo además un análisis del tiempo y coste que conlleva cada tarea y el proyecto en conjunto para que las empresas en su utilización se beneficien de ello.
[EN] The Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) and Critical Route Method (CPM) are two operations research techniques for planning, programming and controlling of network-based projects. Both seek to achieve the same goal which is to program the tasks of the projects by analytics methods. Although they have the same objective, there are differences between them. The PERT is used when the time it takes the tasks to be performed have an uncertain character, while the CPM is used when the time it takes for the tasks to be performed are known with relative certainty. In this work, we will see the two methods making an analysis of the time and cost involved in each task and the project as a whole so that companies can benefit from them.
