EL SUICIDIO EN ESPAÑA EN LOS ÚLTIMOS 15 AÑOS

Abstract

Este trabajo plantea, desde un punto de vista social, el estudio del suicidio y sus consecuencias en el entorno, sin olvidar la visión que tiene la sociedad del mismo. Si bien ha sido un tema tabú durante muchos años, en los últimos años se ha observado un aumento de la bibliografía y de la preocupación por este hecho, que siempre se había vinculado, casi en exclusiva, a un tema de salud mental y en la actualidad se están viendo casos de opción personal frente a la vida que tendría que asumir el suicida. Se presentan cifras y datos alarmantes, del número de personas que deciden quitarse la vida en nuestro país. A nivel mundial es la tercera causa de muerte no natural entre las edades comprometidas desde los 15 a los 44 años, tal y como se presentará en este trabajoThis work proposes, from a social point of view, the study of suicide and its consequences in the environment, without forgetting the vision that society has of it. Although it has been a taboo subject for many years, in recent years, there has been an increase in literature and concern about this fact, which always had been linked, almost exclusively, to a mental health issue and currently we are seeing cases of personal choice in the face of the life that the suicide bomber would have to assume. It is presented alarming figures and data, of the number of people who decide to take their own lives in our country. Worldwide it is the third leading cause of unnatural death among the ages involved from 15 to 44 years, as presented in this paper
