Resumen
[ES] El principal objetivo de este trabajo es estudiar las exportaciones
de aceite de oliva durante la Gran Recesión. Para ello se analiza
geográficamente el protagonismo y la evolución de su valor en
España, la aportación nacional de las exportaciones andaluzas y su
peso respecto al resto de comunidades autónomas, así como la
relevancia de esta actividad en la provincia jiennense.
Tras este estudio, extraemos las siguientes conclusiones. El valor
de las exportaciones españolas ha aumentado en el período
analizado, excepto en 2009. Italia y Francia son nuestros
principales competidores en este sector. Andalucía realiza el
mayor aporte de aceite de oliva en España, con una trayectoria
similar a la nacional. Sin embargo, Jaén, siendo la provincia de
mayor producción oleícola, no es la que más exporta, puesto que
algunas de sus empresas ven oportunidad de negocio en el
exterior, pero muchas otras prefieren comercializar su producto en
territorio nacional.
[EN] The main objective of this work is to study of olive oil's exports in the period of the Great Recession. For this, the role and the evolution of its value in Spain compared with other countries are analyzed. Then, the national contribution of Andalusian exports and weight compared with other regions, as well as the relevance that J aen gives to the export is known. After this study, we have reached the following conclusions. Thevalue of Spanish exports has increased in this period, except in 2009. ltaly and France are Spain's main competitors in this sector. Andalusia makes the greatest contribution of olive oíl in Spain, coming to have the same trajectory. However, Jaen that is the largest olive oil producer, it is not the most exported province, because sorne of its companies know the business opportunity abroad, but many others firms prefer to commercialize their product on national territory.
