[EN] The fast technological advance experienced in the past few years has caused us to be constantly under bigger electric and magnetic fields than the natural ones and the birth of the term "electromagnetic pollution". When talking about electromagnetic pollution we can refer to two different types, the one asociated to extremly low frecuencies and the one asociated to intermediate frecuencies. This study is focused on the second since is the one related to cell phone towers and mobile phones, ínter alía, which makes it more interesting considering the chosen context of the study. Thereby, the study consisted in taking field measurements of the power density at the Univerdad de Jaén environment related to the existing electromagnetic fields. After that, obtained values has been compared to the corresponding legislation to prove that measured intensities at the campus don't exceed máximum levels established by law.
