[EN] This work offers a descriptive study of the diverse factors that may lead to an appropriate level of intercultural sensitivity, as well as the benefits it provides, on the grounds that, although this level could enhance intercultural relations in communities, it is usually left unnoticed by society. Since, as stated in the literature, the aforementioned level is clearly determined by the intercultural experience profile each person presents in the university context, our main objective in this work consists of verifying whether the same situation happens currently outside this specific context. Therefore, to achieve our aim, we have carried out a questionnaire-based study of three different sections containing varieties such us sex or age, questions related to the intercultural experience profile of participants, and finally, statements which have been designed to measure their level of intercultural sensitivity grounded on the Intercultural Sensitivity Scale by Chen and Starosta (2000).
