ANÁLISIS DEL IMPACTO DE LAS TERAPIAS ARTÍSTICAS EN LA INTERVENCIÓN PROFESIONAL DEL TRABAJO SOCIAL

Abstract

Las Terapias Expresivas engloban una variedad de artes expresivas aplicadas en terapia. Estas terapias tradicionalmente han sido aplicadas desde la Psicología, pero cada vez se reconoce más su valor en la intervención social, dada la naturaleza interdisciplinaria y creativa del Trabajo Social, que requiere nutrirse de diversas áreas del conocimiento para abordar las necesidades sociales de forma integral e individualizada. Este estudio busca investigar y demostrar el impacto del uso de las terapias artísticas en la intervención desde la praxis del Trabajo Social. Para ello, se ha recopilado información relevante mediante técnicas primarias y secundarias. Los resultados obtenidos resaltan la utilidad de las herramientas artísticas como complemento en la intervención social, tanto a nivel individual, grupal o comunitario. Se subraya la importancia de formar en Terapias Artísticas a los/as trabajadores/as sociales para mejorar la manera en que abordan situaciones problemáticas sociales, incorporando formas de expresión más allá de la palabra

Art therapies encompass a variety of expressive arts applied in therapy. These therapies have traditionally been applied from psychology, but their value in social intervention is increasingly recognised, given the interdisciplinary and creative nature of social work, which requires drawing on diverse areas of knowledge to address social needs in a holistic and individualised way. This study seeks to investigate and demonstrate the impact of the use of art therapies in intervention from the praxis of social work. To this end, relevant information has been collected through primary and secondary techniques. The results obtained highlight the usefulness of artistic tools as a complement in social intervention, whether at individual, group or community level. The importance of training social workers in artistic therapies to improve the way in which they approach problematic social situations, incorporating forms of expression beyond words, is underlined
