Intervención en funciones ejecutivas de enfermos de Alzheimer no institucionalizados

Resumen
Estudio centrado en el análisis conceptual de la enfermedad Alzheimer especialmente en la repercusión de esta afectación en el contexto psicosocial, y en el conjunto familiar del enfermo.
Dicho estudio tiene su base en la gran incidencia de las enfermedades neurodegenerativas en la población cada vez más envejecida.
Seguidamente se planteará una intervención psicológica en enfermos de Alzheimer, centrada en la afectación en las funciones ejecutivas de la persona y su posible aplicación en un ambiente menos estructurado y más usual como planteamos; en una unidad familiar concreta. Todo ello a partir de directrices psicológicas adaptadas a estadios leves y moderados de la enfermedad, con el objetivo de fomentar la autonomía, adaptación, aceptación, conservación y funcionalidad tanto del entorno como del paciente a esta nueva realidad que experimentan.
Research focused on the conceptual analysis of Alzheimer’s Disease, especially on the impact that this condition has on the psychosocial context and on the family of the patient. This research is based on the high incidence of the neurodegenerative diseases in an increasingly aging population. Afterwards, a psychological intervention on patients with Alzheimer, focused on the executive functions’ involvement and its possible application in a less structured and more common atmosphere, as can be the specific family unit that we present, will be raised. All of this is built from the psychological guidelines adapted to an early-to-middle-stage of Alzheimer’s, with the aim of fostering the autonomy, adaptation, preservation and functionality of both the environment and the patient to the new reality.
