In the following dissertation, the motor competence in Primary Education students has been analyzed and evaluated, in order to discover the development of the basic motor skills and determine if there are differences in motor development in relation to gender. Thus, it is discovered the components of motor skills that they have more developed and which ones cause more mistakes. In order to establish this, 25 students from the third stage have been selected. They primarily belong to the fifth grade of Primary, from the school ‘Nuestra Señora de la Capilla’ located in Jaén where all their basic motor skills were measured. The motor development of all these students was evaluated using the MOBAK 5-6 battery, in which on the one hand, control of objects was measured and on the other hand, the control of the body.
