[EN] Nematodes constitute a widely distributed and diversified community capable of living in almost any type of habitat. For this reason, this report studies the diversity of the nematofauna present in both areas of the Mediterranean, that is, southern Spain (Martos and Alcaudete) and northern Africa (Ceuta and Morocco) with the purpose of providing relevant information about this community associated with the study areas. After the taxonomic analysis, a total of 45 species, 39 genera and 7 different orders have been obtained, with Rhabditida being the most abundant order, so it is said that the soil from which these nematodes come is unstable or immature, with more organic matter in decomposition. Regarding the trophic groups, in this study bacteriophages predominate, so it is concluded that in these study areas they harbor a great diversity of nematodes adapted to these ecosystems.
