Resumen
[ES] Se realiza la purificación de la peroxirredoxina Prdx6 de ratón mediante técnicas cromatográficas convencionales con el fin de analizar sus características catalíticas. Prdx6 pertenece al grupo de peroxirredoxinas 1-Cys, de las cuales no se ha llegado a un absoluto consenso sobre el mecanismo catalítico. Se trata de probar si la peroxirredoxina Prdx6 purificada de pulmón de ratón se ajusta al mecanismo catalítico demostrado con la peroxirredoxina 1-Cys (Prxlp) propia de Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
[EN]A method of purification of the mouse peroxiredoxin Prdx6 has been performed by conventional chromatographic techniques in order to analyze its catalytic characteristics. Prdx6 belongs to the group of peroxiredoxins 1-Cys, of which no consensus on the catalytic mechanism has been reached. The aim is to test whether peroxidase Prdx6 purified from mouse lung conforms to the catalytic mechanism demonstrated with the 1-Cys peroxiredoxin (Prxlp) characteristic of Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
