Resumen
El principal objetivo de este Trabajo de Fin de Grado (TFG) es estudiar el
comportamiento de probetas de mortero sostenibles en las cuales se ha
sustituido un 20 % en peso de cemento Portland por cenizas procedentes de la
combustión de tableros de madera. Asimismo, el agregado arena se ha
reemplazado en diferentes porcentajes – entre el 5 % y el 20 % en volumen - por
serrín pretratado con una disolución de hidróxido cálcico y sin pretratar.
Los resultados obtenidos indican que mientras las propiedades físicas se
ven mejoradas por una reducción de la densidad aparente y de la absorción de
agua por capilaridad, las propiedades mecánicas se ven ligeramente mermadas,
obteniendo valores inferiores de resistencia a flexión y compresión con respecto
al mortero control. El balance más adecuado de propiedades físicas y mecánicas
se obtiene para las probetas de mortero que incorporan un 5 % de serrín
pretratado. No obstante, todos los morteros cumplen con los requisitos
especificados según la norma para ser usados como materiales de construcción.
