Spain lives a continuous social instability that has been increasing with the rise of neoliberalism, making greater and greater the inequality gap in the population. During my research we will see the main neoliberal measures implemented by the state using punitive and economic policies. First of all, we see how the neoliberal ideological movement appears and its social/educational structuring, in order to understand the situation in which the country finds itself with the arrival of the 2008 crisis where the poverty rate and the number of evictions skyrockets. Then, as a result of the social unrest caused by the situation, we learn about the citizen movements that are created to reclaim and change the system in which the country is immersed. Finally, we witness the punitive harshness with which the government acts through the implementation of the Organic Law for the Protection of Citizen Security.
