Over the last few years, numerous investigations have shown a significant deterioration in the mental health of adolescents. Specifically, within this framework of millennial morbidity, high school students are presented as a segment of the population at risk, since this preparatory stage means facing important and intense social and academic pressures. For this reason, the present work has been motivated by the urgent need to improve the well-being of these students through a Program of Guidance and Psychopedagogical Intervention. The program consists of 12 sessions raised from the different areas of educational guidance, through which, it is expected that the target population will increase their emotional intelligence through the training of emotional skills posed by the Mayer and Salovey model, favouring thus, the prevention and reduction of anxious and depressive emotional disorders, the reduction of academic burnout syndrome and, therefore, the improvement of their academic performance.
