LA ECONOMÍA DEL BIEN COMÚN Y LA SOSTENIBILIDAD EN EL TURISMO

Abstract

El capitalismo crea infinidad de aspectos negativos en la sociedad y en el medio ambiente. La preocupación por estos efectos ha llevado a la búsqueda de otros modelos que logren mitigarlos. En los últimos años, se ha creado un modelo económico más justo, ético y sostenible, el cual busca el bienestar de la sociedad. Es el modelo de la Economía del Bien Común. Por otra parte, el turismo es uno de los sectores que más peso tiene en nuestra sociedad, aportando una enorme cantidad de riqueza, pero a su vez, consume una gran cantidad de recursos naturales para soportar el gran volumen de turistas recibidos. Es por ello, que este estudio se basa en el citado modelo económico en relación con el turismo desde el punto de vista del desarrollo sostenible. También se analizará cómo las empresas turísticas, a través de las herramientas de dicha economía, pueden ser más sostenibles.Capitalism creates countless negative aspects in society and the environment. That is why this study is based on the aforementioned economic model in relation to tourism from the point of view of sustainable development. It will also analyze how tourism companies, through the tools of this economy, can be more sustainable.
