Los materiales de intercambio del Herbario de la Universidad de Jaén (JAEN)

Abstract

[ES] Este estudio analiza los materiales de intercambio y donaciones del Herbario de la Universidad de Jaén (JAEN), recolectados entre 1856 y 2012, con el objetivo de cuantificar, informatizar y valorizar esta parte relevante de la colección. Se identificaron 8.465 pliegos de intercambio, equivalentes al 20 % del total del herbario, todos pertenecientes a plantas vasculares (Tracheophyta), distribuidos en 35 órdenes y 94 familias. Las principales regiones de origen incluyen España, Francia e Italia. Una proporción significativa procede de la Société pour l’Échange des Plantes Vasculaires de l’Europe Occidentale et du Bassin Méditerranéen, destacando su papel como fuente principal de exsiccatae. Se registraron además 35 tipos nomenclaturales: 28 isotipos, 4 sintipos y 3 paratipos. [EN] This study analyzes exchange materials and donations in the Herbarium of the University of Jaén (JAEN), collected between 1856 and 2012, with the aim of quantifying, digitizing, and highlighting the value of this significant part of the collection. A total of 8,465 exchange specimens were identified, representing 20% of the herbarium’s holdings. All specimens are vascular plants (Tracheophyta), encompassing 35 orders and 94 families. The main geographic origins include Spain, France, and Italy. A substantial portion comes from the Société pour l’Échange des Plantes Vasculaires de l’Europe Occidentale et du Bassin Méditerranéen, which served as a key source of exsiccatae. Additionally, 35 nomenclatural types were recorded: 28 isotypes, 4 syntypes, and 3 paratypes.
