Resumen
[ES] El presente trabajo de investigación consiste en la creación de un paquete de firmes que se adecúe a las solicitaciones a las que se verá sometido en su aplicación en un nuevo sistema de vía en placa para el transporte ferroviario.
Los problemas surgidos durante el proceso de investigación consistieron en los siguientes apartados: por un lado, se ha buscado incluir el mayor porcentaje posible de residuos como material constructivo para la fabricación del firme, lo que ha llevado a la realización de numerosos ensayos debido a que dichos desechos no han sido utilizados anteriormente para tales fines, por lo que no existen referencias, en la práctica, que indiquen que son adecuados para su uso; por otro lado, al tratarse de vía en placa, es decir, de un sistema constructivo de líneas ferroviarias relativamente poco empleado en España, ha surgido el problema de no disponer de normativa que rija la utilización de firmes en tramos de ferrocarril, por lo que ha sido necesario guiarse por la normativa de carreteras a la hora de interpretar los resultados de los ensayos.
[EN ]This research involves the creation of a strong package that suits the stresses to which it will be submitted in its application in a new slab track system for rail transport.
