FACTORES CLAVES PARA LA CORRECTA SUCESIÓN DE LAS EMPRESAS FAMILIARES

Abstract

[ES]El presente trabajo trata sobre los pasos más importantes que deben dar las empresas familiares para que perduren en el tiempo y pasen a manos de las siguientes generaciones. Comienzo con un marco teórico, donde explico las características de la empresa familiar, las principales diferencias que tiene con el resto de empresas, los factores clave para la continuidad y los beneficios fiscales que presenta, basándome en fuentes bibliográficas. Después hago un estudio del caso de una empresa familiar real donde aplico lo aprendido en teoría a la práctica y obtengo unos resultados. Finalizo haciendo una serie de recomendaciones a la empresa, basándome en la investigación realizada. La elección del tema ha estado influida por los problemas que tienen las empresas familiares para continuar de generación en generación. La empresa familiar es muy importante para la economía mundial y es necesario tomar medidas para evitar su muerte temprana.

[EN]This work is about the most important steps that family businesses should take in order to last over time and to be able to leave it to next generations. I start with a theoretical framework where I explain the characteristics of the family business, the main differences that it has with the rest of them, the key factors for its continuity and the fiscal benefits that it gets, based on bibliographic sources. Then I do a study of a real case of family business where I apply what I have learned from theory into practice and I get some results. Finally, I make some recommendations to the business based on the research done. The choice of the topic has been influenced by the problems that family businesses have to continue from generation to generation. The family business is very important for the world economy and it is necessary to take measures to prevent its early death.
