EL INTERCAMBIO CULTURAL ENTRE ESPAÑA Y EL MUNDO ANGLOSAJÓN COMO EFECTO DE LA GLOBALIZACIÓN.

Abstract

La globalización, hoy en día, es un fenómeno que está bastante presente en cualquier sociedad. El doble proceso de adaptación y difusión que se deriva de ella conlleva una serie de modificaciones, que causan resultados tanto beneficiosos como perjudiciales a las distintas culturas que se ven envueltas. En este sentido, los países anglosajones han sido aquellos que más influencia han tenido en los intercambios culturales que se producen. Así, el objetivo de este trabajo se centra en acercar al lector, de manera general, a la situación actual que ha originado la globalización, y de una manera más concreta, a cómo han interactuado entre sí las culturas española y anglosajona. Igualmente, se destaca la importancia del turismo en este proceso, pues es la principal actividad económica de España, y uno de los motores vitales que facilita el contacto entre culturas.

Nowadays, globalization is an outstanding phenomenon in our society. The double process of adaptation and dissemination that it implies leads to a series of changes that have both positive and negative effects on the different cultures involved. In this sense, Anglo-Saxon countries are those which have had more influence in the cultural exchanges occurred. This way, the goal of this project is focused on bringing the reader closer, in a general way, to the current situation that globalization has originated, and in a more specific way, to how the Spanish and English-speaking cultures have interacted with each other. In addition, this project highlights the importance of tourism in this process, since it is the main economic activity of Spain, and one of the main engines that trigger intercultural contact.
