The present work has focused on the study and interpretation of the materials documented in the emergency archaeological excavation carried out on the site located at Plaza de Cambil number 2 in Jaén. This intervention was carried out prior to the construction of a series of homes, as required by regulations since the site is located within the Historic Center of the city. In the study carried out, the chronology of said materials corresponding to the Early Medieval period of the city and linked to the period of Visigoth occupation has been determined, but it has also been possible to verify the evolution of the Material through the stratigraphic sequence, arriving at a chronological sequence that reflects the period of Islamization of the city.
