VISIÓN ACTUAL DEL REPERTORIO DE ZARZUELA PARA FLISCORNO: UNA PROPUESTA DIDÁCTICA

Abstract

[ES]Las bandas de música son una de las tradiciones musicales más antiguas y arraigadas en nuestro país. Este trabajo fin de máster pretende poner en valor a estas formaciones, centrándonos en uno de los géneros más representativos y popular en el repertorio de banda, la Zarzuela. Para la realización de este estudio nos vamos a centrar en el repertorio para fliscorno, instrumento de viento metal perteneciente a la familia de lo bulges, que aunque es un afín a la trompeta, es tocado por trompetistas, puesto que el tamaño de su boquilla es más cercano a la trompeta que a la familia de las tubas, a la que pertenece. Se diferencia de la trompeta porque es cónico, mientras que la trompeta es 2/3 cilíndrico y 1/3 cónico, y por tener una boquilla con una copa más profunda. Tiene un sonido más oscuro y menos directo que el de la trompeta. Nos centraremos en los solos para este instrumento que encontramos en las selecciones de zarzuela para banda de música. Para ello se van a analizar de forma metodológica algunos de solos más importantes para este instrumento, que suelen ser programados en las oposiciones de bandas profesionales. Esto ayudará que el alumnado de los conservatorios pueda conocer este repertorio, y trabajar un instrumento que no suele tener gran relevancia en los centros educativos. Para ello se ha elaborado una propuesta didáctica en la que encontramos una contextualización de la zarzuela, explicación técnica e interpretativa de cada uno de los solos, una serie de ejercicios técnicos e interpretativos, que contribuirán a que el estudio sea más eficaz, una serie de actividades interactivas, un play along, y una grabación, con el fin de dar una visión actualizada de la Zarzuela y el fliscorno. [EN]The music bands are one of the oldest and most deeply rooted musical traditions in our country. This master's degree project aims to give value to these formations, focusing on one of the most representative genres and popular in the repertoire of the band, the Zarzuela. For the realization of this study we will focus on the repertoire for flugelhorn, metal wind instrument belonging to the family of the bulges, which although it is akin to the trumpet, is played by trumpeters, since the size of its mouthpiece is closer to the trumpet than to the family of the tubas, to which it belongs. It differs from the trumpet because it is conical, while the trumpet is 2/3 cylindrical and 1/3 conical, and by having a mouthpiece with a deeper cup. It has a darker and less direct sound than the trumpet. We will focus on the solos for this instrument that we find in the selections of zarzuela for the music band. For this purpose, some of the most important solos for this instrument will be analyzed methodologically, which are usually programmed in the oppositions of professional bands. This will help that the students of the conservatories can know this repertoire and work an instrument that usually does not have great relevance in the educational centers. For this, a didactic proposal has been elaborated in which we find a contextualization of the zarzuela, technical and interpretative explanation of each one of the solos, a series of technical and interpretative exercises, that will contribute to make the study more efficient, a series of interactive activities, a play along, and a recording, in order to give an updated vision of the Zarzuela and the flugelhorn.
