INTERVENCIÓN ASISTIDA CON ANIMALES DIRIGIDA A PERSONAS CON DISCAPACIDAD AUDITIVA

Abstract

[ES] La presente revisión bibliográfica tiene como objetivo estudiar los efectos que pueden causar las Intervenciones Asistida con Animales (IAA) en la comunicación e interacción social de las personas con discapacidad auditiva. Para conseguirlo se desarrolla una estrategia de búsqueda, basada en el protocolo PRISMA, combinando una amplia variedad de términos que se introducen en multitud de bases de datos para recabar todos los estudios posibles sobre esta temática. Dichos resultados, tras pasar por el cribado de los criterios de elegibilidad, finalmente se redujeron a tres estudios cuyos contenidos se relacionan con la temática que acontece. Debido a la escasez de información y a la disparidad existente entre estos tres estudios solo es posible encontrar ciertos puntos en común, tales son: los beneficios que aporta a los participantes la interacción humano-animal, la escasez de información, la falta de investigación y la necesidad de realizar futuros estudios de mayor magnitud y precisión.

[EN] The present bibliographic review aims to study the effects that Animal Assisted Interventions (IAA) can cause in the communication and social interaction of people with hearing disabilities. To achieve this, a search strategy is developed, based on the PRISMA protocol, combining a wide variety of terms that are entered into a multitude of databases to collect all possible studies on this topic. These results, after filter through the eligibility criteria, were finally reduced to three studies whose contents are related to the subject that is taking place. On account of the scarcity of information and the disparity between three studies, it is only possible to find certain points in common, such as: the benefits that human-animal interaction provides to participants, the scarcity of information, the few of research and the need for future studies of larger magnitude and precision.
