Resumen
El objetivo principal de este proyecto es resaltar el poder de la teledetección en la cartografía y el monitoreo de
inundaciones, hemos desarrollado un enfoque de múltiples fuentes, trabajamos con imágenes de RADAR Sentinel 1 para
extraer la parte inundada en el área de estudio en marzo 2015 y cartografiar la superficie cubierta por el área urbana del
Lower Valley de Majerda también utilizamos imágenes ópticas (Sentinel-2) para cartografiar el uso del suelo en la misma
área, finamente se desarrolla una aplicación de manejo de emergencias donde publicamos los resultados de este estudio.
The main objective of this project is to highlight the power of remote sensing in cartography and monitoring flooding, we have developed a multi-source approach we worked with Sentinel 1 RADAR imagery to extract the flooded part in the study area in Mars 2015 and mapping the footprints of urban area the lower valley of Majerda also we used optical images (Sentinel-2) to map the Land Use in the same area , finely we developed an emergency management application were we published the results of this study.
