Resumen
[ES] El siguiente Trabajo Fin de Máster se ha destinado al diseño de un programa de educación asistida con animales, que
tiene como objetivo principal desarrollar la educación emocional y trabajar las competencias emocionales en la etapa
de Educación Infantil; concretamente la propuesta va disefiada para el segundo curso de dicha etapa educativa. De
manera transversal se abordarán otros contenidos incluidos en el currículo de Educación Infantil, como puede ser
potenciar el hábito de lectura, consiguiendo de esta manera un proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje más global.
El trabajo está organizado en diferentes partes. En primer lugar, se expone una introducción a todo lo referido a
educación emocional, relacionado con el desanollo que se produce en el alumnado de infantil y la importancia de la
implantación de programas emocionales en edades tempranas. Posterionnente, se incluye una introducción a las
intervenciones asistidas con aninrnles y en este proyecto, en particular teniendo como animal de intervención a un
conejo, con las ventajas y desventajas que este animal conlleva. Por último, se aborda el diseño de un conjunto de
sesiones para trabajar con el alumnado de educación infantil la educación emocional asistida con, a través de la
interacción con el conejo y guiado por profesionales del ámbito de la educación, con el objetivo de que se adquiera,
por parte delos alumnos, unas competencias emocionales, basadas en la correcta percepción, comprensión y expresión
emocional básica.
En conclusión, esta propuesta de intervención asistida con animales puede servir de modelo para futuros proyectos de
educación emocional. Todo ello teniendo siempre en cuenta el completo bienestar y cuidado del animal antes, durante
y después de las sesiones. También persigue transmitir al alumnado valores de respeto hacía el mundo animal, que
contribuirán de manera positiva a su proceso de crecimiento y maduración personal.
[EN] The follow ing Master thesis focuses on to the design of a program of animal assisted education which aims to develop the emotional education and emotional competencies in the stage of early childhood education; in particular, the proposal is designed for the second year of th is educational stage. Transversally, it will dealt with other contents included in the currículum of early childhood education, like promoting the habit of reading, thereby achieving a more global learning teaching process. The work is organised in different parts. First of ali, there is an introduction to the emotional education development occurring in the pupils of early age and the importance of the implementation of emotional programs in early ages. Afterwards, there is an introduction to the interventional procedures with animals and considering specially rabbits for this project in particular, analysing the advantages and disadvantages that rabbits have as an intervention animal. Finally, this project tackles the design of a set of sessions of emotional education assisted with animals for students in early childhood education, through interaction with the rabbit and guided by professionals in the fie ld of education, aiming the acquisition of emotional competences by the students, based on the correct perception, understanding and expression of basic emotions. In conclusion, this proposal of intervention assisted by animals can serve as a model for future projects of emotional education. Al! of this taking into account the full welfare and care of the animal before, during and after the session. Tt also trasmits to students values of respect towards the animal world, which will contribute positively to their process of growth and personal development.
