EFFECTIVE COORDINATION OF A CLIL PROGRAM IN PRIMARY EDUCATION IN THE REGION OF MURCIA

Abstract

[ES]El presente Trabajo de Fin de Máster pretende proporcionar información útil para los equipos bilingües de los colegios de Educación Primaria en la Región de Murcia. La colaboración y coordinación de todos los agentes que participan en los programas de educación bilingüe es esencial para asegurar el exitoso desarrollo de los programas, es por eso que la labor de los coordinadores bilingües es crucial. La normativa nacional y regional describe las funciones y roles del coordinador bilingüe, además de ser responsables de otras labores que deben hacerse para coordinar al equipo bilingüe, al equipo directivo y a las familias. Los coordinadores de programas CLIL en Educación Primaria en la Región de Murcia pueden encontrar en el contenido de este trabajo de fin de máster la información y también herramientas eficaces para coordinar a todos los agentes implicados e implementar el programa satisfactoriamente

[EN]The present Master´s Dissertation is intended to provide useful information to the bilingual teams in primary education schools in the Region of Murcia. The collaboration and coordination of all stakeholders involved in bilingual education is paramount for the successful implementation of the programs, that is why the role of the bilingual coordinator is key. National and regional regulations describe the functions and roles of the bilingual coordinator, but the everyday activity in primary education requires that they become responsible for other tasks that quite often go beyond their job description, but still need to be done in order to coordinate the bilingual team, the management team and the families. CLIL primary education coordinators in the Region of Murcia can find here effective tools to collaborate with the rest of the bilingual program stakeholders, in addition to coordinating the action plans that are more convenient in each specific academic context.
