“Explorando la dimensión educativa del turismo: un enfoque interdisciplinario en pedagogía del turismo”

Abstract

El presente trabajo se enfoca principalmente en el turismo educativo y cómo este puede influir positivamente en que desde edades tempranes se inculque la educación para la sostenibilidad tanto desde la perspectiva de la educación formal como la no formal. Se han examinado diversos conceptos relacionados desde distintos enfoques, como el desarrollo y turismo sostenible, con el objetivo de comprender con mayor precisión el concepto de sostenibilidad y el marco normativo que se debe cumplir para obtener certificaciones que respalden el compromiso con la sostenibilidad. Posteriormente, se llevó a cabo un análisis conciso de la situación actual en la industria turística, específicamente cómo el sector de las agencias de turismo, viajes y tour operadores han evolucionado en los últimos años y la perspectiva de mejoras de recuperación turística que se tienen en cuenta tras esta catástrofe. Finalmente, se realizó un análisis detallado de las prácticas llevadas a cabo, proporcionando información de la empresa y una descripción minuciosa de cada actividad realizada y la metodología empleada en el proceso.

The main focus of this work is on educational tourism and how it can have a positive impact on education for sustainability from an early age, both from the perspective of formal education and non-formal education. Various related concepts have been studied from different approaches, such as sustainable development and tourism, with the aim of understanding more precisely the concept of sustainability and the regulatory framework that must be complied with to obtain certifications that support the commitment to sustainability. Subsequently, a brief analysis of the current situation in the tourism industry was carried out, specifically how the sector of tourism agencies, travel agencies and tour operators have evolved in recent years and the perspective of improvements in tourism recovery that are taken into account after this catastrophe. Finally, a detailed analysis of the practices carried out was made, providing company information and a detailed description of each activity carried out and the methodology used in the process.
