Resumen
[ES]Save the Alien-Gees! es una propuesta artística que inicia por una preocupación acerca de la
actual crisis migratoria que esta viviendo el planeta, enfatizando en los focos de mayor
índice de flujo migratorio, analizando los factores que llevan a la creación de prejuicios y
las trágicas travesías por las que tienen que pasar las distintas personas que no tienen otra
opción que buscar un nuevo rumbo con más oportunidades donde sobrevivir. Debido a la
carga mediática y masificación de información sobre el tema migratorio se tiende a
deshumanizarse, esta propuesta busca a través de una ficción extraterrestre recrear este
panorama, evidenciando los choques sociales y culturales que padecen los migrantes en
cualquier contexto geográfico. Estableciendo los imaginarios y ficciones como
herramientas de implicación social e indagando igualmente en algunas representaciones
artísticas vinculadas con la temática migratoria.
[EN]Save the Alien-Gees! is an artistic aproposal that starts out of a concern about the current crisis migration that the planet is living, emphasizing in the centers with higher migratory flow rates by analyzing the factors that lead to the creation of prejudice and the tragic journeys that the different people who have no other option but to look for a new direction with more opportunities to survive. Due to the media burden and the massification of information on the migratory theme, it tends to be dehumanized, this proposal seeks through an extraterrestrial fiction to recreate this panorama, evidencing the social and cultural clashes that migrants suffer in any geographical context. Establishing the imaginaries and fictions as tools of social involvement and also investigating some artistic representations linked to the migratory theme.
