(ES) Durante los últimos años se ha constatado que existe un gran problema en la enseñanza de las
matemáticas, principalmente los errores se centran en el fracaso escolar y en la metodología que se
debería llevar a cabo para evitar dicho fracaso. Por ello, se ha realizado una investigación con 25 alumnos
del tercer curso de educación primaria, cuya edad oscila entre 8 y 9 años, en la que se enseñaban los
diferentes conceptos de geometría utilizando la gamificación. Los resultados obtenidos han mostrado que
con la gamificación realmente se consigue una destacada mejoría de los resultados de matemáticas,
especialmente en los alumnos con necesidades educativas, donde la mejoría de sus resultados es
notablemente superior a cuando se utiliza la metodología tradicional. Por ello, se ha concluido que es de
vital importancia implementar la gamificación en las escuelas para así poder obtener los resultados
esperados y la motivación deseada.
(EN) During the last few years it has been noted that there is a big problem in the teaching of mathematics, mainly the errors are focused on school failure and on the methodology that should be carried out to avoid such failure. For this reason, an investigation was carried out with 25 pupils in the third year of primary education, aged between 8 and 9 years, in which the different concepts of geometry were taught using gamification. The results obtained have shown that gamification really does achieve a significant improvement in mathematics results, especially in pupils with educational needs, where the improvement in their results is notably higher than when traditional methodology is used. Therefore, it has been concluded that it is of vital importance to implement gamification in schools in order to obtain the expected results and the desired motivation.
