The Spanish Civil War brought with it a change in the allocation of gender roles and in propagandist activity .The conflict was closely followed by many countries. In the present work, we intend to point out the fundamental interpretative clues that have accompanied the reconstruction of the feminine protagonist in the anti-Franco struggle, together with the analysis of forms of interventions or support between them. The reformulation of the concept of resistance and the subsequent assessment of forms of struggle linked to solidarity, survival, dissent and personal rebelliousness have made visible in recent years an articulated and complex female participation. Likewise, the study of repression can offer a more meaningful insight into what happens to the Franco regime.
