RELACIONES FAMILIARES Y SOCIALES EN MUJERES AFECTADAS DE FIBROMIALGIA

Abstract

[ES] Se presenta un estudio de investigación sobre las relaciones entre el impacto de la fibromialgia en las relaciones familiares y sociales de las personas afectadas por esta enfermedad. La muestra estuvo formada por 69 mujeres con edades comprendidas entre los 29 y los 70 años, de la provincia de Jaén, pertenecientes a la asociación AFIXA. Se administraron diferentes escalas y cuestionarios para recoger información acerca de diferentes variables sociodemográficas así como la soledad social percibida, el uso de las nuevas tecnologías, la percepción del apoyo social, el impacto de la fibromialgia, la valoración socio –familiar, y la calidad de la calidad de la relación de pareja. El principal resultado ha sido que existen una alta relación entre la relación de pareja y el resto de variables afectivas.

[EN] A research study is presented on the relationships between the impact of fibromyalgia on family and social relationships of people affected by this disease. The sample consisted of 69 women between the ages of 29 and 70, from the province of Jaén, belonging to the AFIXA association. Different scales and questionnaires were administered to collect information about different sociodemographic variables as well as perceived social loneliness, the use of new technologies, the perception of social support, the impact of fibromyalgia, the socio-family assessment, and the quality of the quality of the couple's relationship. The main result has been that there is a high relationship between the couple's relationship and the other affective variables.
