In an increasingly globalised, diverse and changing world, it is essential to address intercultural competence from an early age at school, especially in the subject of foreign languages, in order to understand the different cultures, beliefs and customs we live with today and, as a consequence, create a climate of respect and tolerance between different populations. Teachers have the role of teaching, but also of educating human beings, educating in values. The main objective of this work is to introduce the Erasmus+ Mobility Project in a school in Jaén to address intercultural competence or competence in cultural awareness and expression (CAE, CEC in Spanish) with students from Poland in the teaching of English as a foreign language subject through a didactic unit that explores the differences and similarities between the two cultures.
