Resumen
La inactividad física y el aprendizaje de idiomas son dos metas comunes en la población infanto-juvenil. El objetivo
del presente estudio fue analizar la asociación entre el nivel de actividad física diaria y la condición de activo/no
activo, con la autoeficacia en inglés. Participaron 276 adolescentes (129 chicos y 147 chicas) con 10-16 años. El
nivel de Actividad Física se midió con pulseras (Xiaomi Mi Smart band 6 NFC y Xiaomi Mi Smart band 4 NFC).
La autoeficacia en inglés a través del “Cuestionario sobre la autoeficacia en el inglés”. Los resultados muestran que
los escolares más activos presentaban mejor autoeficacia en inglés. Estos resultados se mantuvieron en chicas al
diferenciar los análisis por sexo, pero no en chicos. Al diferenciar entre activos/no activos, no se hallaron diferencias
significativas entre grupos. En base a los resultados, se sugiere incrementar la práctica de Actividad Física moderada-
vigorosa diaria de los adolescentes, especialmente en chicas.

The results show that the most active students had better self-efficacy in English. These results were maintained in girls when differentiating the analyzes by sex, but not in boys. When differentiating between active/inactive, no significant differences were found between groups.
