Resumen
[ES] n este estudio se pretende examinar el impacto de un programa de intervención psicológica positiva
basada en el entrenamiento y desarrollo de las fortalezas del carácter, sobre la satisfacción con la vida e
grupo de adolescentes entre 14 y 17 años. Se ha desarrollado una intervención de 12 sesione
localizada en aumentar y mejorar el uso de las fortalezas por parte de los estudiantes. El grupo
experimental, entrenado en aquellas fortalezas del VIA que más correlacionan con la satisfacción con la
vida en esta etapa (amor, vitalidad, gratitud y esperanza), será comparado con un grupo control que no
recibirá ningún entrenamiento y formará parte de un proceso de lista de espera. Una vez finalizado el
programa, los resultados alcanzados por el grupo experimental deberían mostrar mejoras en esta variable
con respecto a la fase inicial y en comparación con el grupo control.
También se espera que estos resultados se mantengan en el seguimiento.
[EN] he aim of this study is to analyze the impact of a positive psychology intervention program based o haracter strengths, on 14 to 17-years-old adolescents' life satisfaction. Drawing from theory ah esearch related to promete adolescents' life satisfaction, it has been developed a 12-session interventio hat targeted students' use of character strengths. An experimental group that trained strengths a onceptualized by Values-in-Action (VIA) strengths classification that consistently and typically orrelate highly with life satisfaction during adolescence (love, zest, gratitude and hope), will b ompared with a control group that did not receive any training and will be a waiting goup. If pre · ntervention, post-intervention and follow-up measures in · life satisfaction were compared, the life atisfaction of students in the intervention group would improve significantly from baseline to post intervention and in comparison, to a control group. Moreover, the intervention group's gains would b 1aintained at follow-up.
