[ES] En este proyecto se implementa una estación terrestre para la captación de la señal APT procedente de satélites metereológicos de baja órbita NOAA. Para ello se han utilizado dispositivos de bajo coste (SDR y un front end) y se han construido antenas que son analizadas, mediante simulación con la Antenna Toolbox de Matlab y medidas de impedancia mediante el uso de un Analizador Vectorial de Redes. Se evalua la calidad de la señal recibida y las prestaciones del receptor con diferentes configuraciones.
[EN] In this project, a ground station is implemented for the reception of APT signals originating from low Earth orbit NOAA weather satellites. To achieve this, cost-effective devices (Software-Defined Radio and a front end) were utilized, and antennas were constructed, which were analyzed through simulation using Matlab's Antenna Toolbox and impedance measurements conducted with a Vector Network Analyzer. The quality of the received signal and the receiver's performance are assessed with various configurations
