conceptos.
Concepts related to plant nutrition are difficult to teach and learn. Secondary school students have misconceptions related to this process that can interfere with their conception of the world. The following learning situation will deal with aspects of plant nutrition by linking it to the scientific method so that first- year secondary school students in the subject Biology, Geology and Environmental Sciences can understand these abstract processes. The proposal is based on the myth of the danger of sleeping with plants, around which the students will carry out a research process to resolve it. The final project will consist of showing the results of this research to the rest of the educational community during the school's cultural week. The aim is to emphasise the importance of science in daily life and metacognition for the consolidation of concepts.
