ÍNDICES BURSÁTILES: EL IBEX 35

Abstract

[ES]El presente trabajo se inicia introduciendo el concepto general de índices bursátiles, su fórmula de cálculo y su tipología, para posteriormente hacer referencia a los principales índices bursátiles del mundo. En un epígrafe posterior profundizamos en el IBEX 35, comenzando con una breve reseña histórica y posteriormente nos centramos en determinados aspectos de interés del mismo así como su evolución reciente. Por último, analizamos las principales características de las estructuras de gobierno corporativo de las compañías que componen el IBEX 35, a partir de la información contenida en los informes anuales de gobierno corporativo que publican dichas sociedades.

[EN]In this paper we explain the general concept of stock market index, its calculation formula and different types of stock indexes. After that, we speak about the main world stock indexes. In another chapter we study the IBEX 35 index, starting with a brief history and then we focus on the main aspects of this index besides of his recent evolution. Finally, we analyze the main features of the corporate governance structures of the companies that comprise IBEX 35 with theinformation contained in the "Annual corporate governance reports" published by such listed companies
