respuestas subjetivas.
(EN) The eating disorders (ED) are serious and very complex mental illnesses that affect millions of people around the world. They are characterized by an abnormal eating behavior towards food intake and an obsession associated with weight control. The bulimia nervosa (BN) is one type of the ED, which is characterized by periods of binge eating followed by guilt and compensatory behaviors (e.g., self-vomiting), in order to lose weight. Individuals suffering from BN show an altered affective relationship with food. In the current systematic review (including articles from the 2000 to the present), we aimed to summarize scientific studies examining the psychophysiology of BN. Specifically, we aimed to examine how individuals with the full diagnosis of BN (or with bulimic symptoms) react to the visualization of images (specially, food images) by means of peripheric psychophysiological and subjective measures
