El comienzo de la logística empresarial: la logística en la guerra

Abstract

[ES] El presente trabajo pretende indagar en el origen de la logística como base en la logística militar, para ello se apoya en las dos guerras más importantes del mundo, la I Guerra Mundial y la II Guerra Mundial. A lo largo del trabajo se estudia como los países participantes de ambas guerras realizaban los movimientos de tropas, aprovisionamientos de recursos y como tener una mejor o peor estrategia logística implicó que los países llegaran antes a las respectivas zonas de combate y tuvieran unas ventajas a la hora de las batallas. También a lo largo del estudio se verán los avances logísticos que hubo de una guerra a otra. Por último se hará un símil entre la logística militar y la logística empresarial, mostrando como la última ha surgido en base a la primera.

[EN] The current work has the purpose of investigate the origin of the logistics base in military logistics, for it rests on the two major world wars, World War I and World War II. Throughout the work is studied as the countries participating in the wars carried the movement of troops, supplies of resources and as having better or worse logistics strategy involved countries to reach before the respective combat zones and have a advantages to time battles. Also along the study logistical advances which had to war to war they will be seen. Finally there will be a comparison between the military logistics and business logistics, showing how the latter has emerged based on the first.
