[ES]El presente trabajo trata sobre el shuttleball, un deporte alternativo de raqueta, y se divide en dos partes principalmente: fundamentación epistemológica y proyección didáctica. En la primera parte se exponen los conocimientos que hay actualmente sobre el tema objeto de estudio y se describen los principales contenidos teóricos sobre esta disciplina deportiva. En la segunda mitad del trabajo se desarrolla una Unidad Didáctica sobre shuttleball, acompañada de los elementos curriculares básicos y complementarios. Esta Unidad Didáctica se dirige a alumnos/as de 3º de ESO, concretamente se encuentra dentro del bloque 3, denominado “Juegos y Deportes”, y contiene un total de siete sesiones, las cuales se llevarán a cabo durante el segundo trimestre del curso.
[EN]The present work deals with shuttleball, an alternative racket sport, and is divided into two main parts: epistemological foundation and didactic projection. The first part presents the current knowledge on the subject under study and describes the main theoretical contents on this sport discipline. In the second half of the work, a Didactic Unit on shuttleball is developed, accompanied by the basic and complementary curricular elements. This Didactic Unit is aimed at students in the 3rd year of ESO, specifically within block 3, called "Games and Sports", and contains a total of seven sessions, which will be carried out during the second term of the course.
