Antropología de lo bello: mono no aware. Propuesta didáctica para 1o de Bachillerato

Abstract

(ES) Este trabajo defiende una propuesta didáctica titulada Antropología de lo bello: mono no aware, para la asignatura de Antropología y Sociología en primero de bachillerato. Partiendo del interés creciente en Occidente por la visión emocional oriental, se centra en el concepto japonés mono no aware, entendido como sensibilidad estética y emocional hacia lo efímero. Frente al legado racionalista occidental y la marginación de la emoción en la educación, esta propuesta busca fomentar la inteligencia emocional del alumnado, integrando razón y emoción. La unidad promueve el pensamiento crítico, la empatía y la competencia intercultural, ofreciendo herramientas para afrontar la fragmentación emocional de la era digital.

(EN) This work presents a teaching proposal titled Anthropology of the Beautiful: mono no aware, designed for the subject of Anthropology and Sociology in the first year of upper secondary education. It explores the Japanese concept mono no aware, an aesthetic and emotional sensitivity to the ephemeral, as a possible response to the emotional crisis of contemporary Western society. The marginalization of emotion in Western education has led to a clear lack of emotional literacy among students. This unit integrates non-Western perspectives to enrich students’ worldview and foster intercultural competence. While recognizing reason as essential, it also values emotion in the learning process. By connecting anthropology, aesthetics, and intercultural education, the unit promotes critical thinking, empathy, and self-awareness. Ultimately, it aims to address the emotional fragmentation of the digital age, contributing to a broader educational agenda where emotional intelligence is a foundation for knowledge and coexistence.
