Intervenciones asistidas con animales en alumnos con trastorno del espectro autista

Abstract

A través de éste Trabajo Fin de Máster (TFM) con el planteamiento de un proyecto de investigación se pretende dar a conocer alternativas educativas/terapéuticas que benefician el desarrollo y desenvolvimiento de los niños/as diagnosticados de Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA), como son las Intervenciones Asistidas con Animales (IAA), las cuales están en pleno auge y crecimiento en muchos ámbitos, respaldadas por múltiples evidencias científicas de su eficacia. Este trabajo concretamente pretende demostrar si la Educación Asistida con Perros (EAP) incrementa los beneficios obtenidos por la implementación metodología TEACCH en cuanto al desarrollo comunicativo y relaciones sociales de los niños/as con TEA de un centro de Jaén, además de conocer otros beneficios que puedan observarse al llevar a cabo dichas intervenciones.

Through this Master's Thesis (TFM), with the approach of a research project, the aim is to present educational/therapeutic alternatives that benefit the development of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), such as Animal Assisted Interventions (AIA), which are booming and growing in many areas, backed by multiple scientific evidence by their effectiveness. This work specifically aims to demonstrate whether Dog Assisted Interventions increase the benefits obtained by the implementation of the TEACCH methodology in terms of the communicative development and social relationships of children with ASD in a center in Jaén, in addition to knowing other benefits that can be observed while carrying out these interventions.
